- Opal Creek / Little North Santiam swimming hole Seasonal closure: Beachie Creek and Lionshead Fires Closure Order effective May 20, 2026 through May 20, 2027 (unless rescinded sooner). USFS plans corridor reopening no earlier than spring 2027.
- Paulina Hot Springs hot spring Seasonal closure: Caldera access typically late May through mid-October depending on snow.
- Proxy Falls waterfall Seasonal closure: Highway 242 seasonal winter closure common.
- Salt Creek Falls waterfall Seasonal closure: Observation site normally closed in winter; access viewpoint on foot 0.4 mi from Salt Creek Sno-Park.
- Summer Lake Hot Springs hot spring Seasonal closure: Indoor pool open roughly mid-May to mid-November (confirm on site).
